I think you can, I managed to get Dani Alves to play for my Spainsh team in CM2007.

If correct, Giovani will choose for Mexico in CM, just as in real life.
Otherwise, I did a bad job :-)

There are more players with a double nationality, some of them have already declared which country they have chosen. This decision is included.
