Hi all, I just started a new season with Tottenham, and I am looking at the squad list and wondering who I should sell and who to bring in as replacments.
My Starting Budget is 49mil.

Any advice would be great. So far I figure I may sell.

I'm going to try the new Madav v2 tactic I found but Tactic suggestions would also be good.

basically get bojan mcgeady lindfield keep berbtov and bale sell bent defoe use phoenix burned out 2 and then buy whoev else i have benzema crespo and others

Deffo Keep Huddlestone, Bale, Berbatov.

Get Bojan, Kompany, Hobbs, Lindfield, Mcgready, Turan.

I used Mad Fish tactic and won the league with Spurs 4 years in a row.

I managed Tottenham not so long ago and did quite well, won the league in my 1st season, and won the treble in 2nd season. My team was Robinson, Richards Kompany King Bale, Hudd and Boateng in the middle, 2 from Lennon/Modric/Mcgeady as wingers and either keane/bojan/defoe/bent playing behind berbatov.

Have to say, Bale and Boateng were quality for me.

and also use your own tactic using these super tactics make it boring use a tactic which fits around the players you have and suits the style of play

Thanks for the tips guys, thought I should post a few results and say who I have bought.

Brought in : Joaquin, McGeady, Bojan and I am on the verge of signing Maxi. Maxi signed also now.

Yep I pretty much blew my budget, decided to keep defoe as Berbatov got injured, still waiting for Bojan to perform but he got injured in a friendly. Just tough luck.

Stats for Bojan and Maxi are good, but no results as yet..not like others, espically for Bojan. But I figure he is still settling in.
Tactics I am using thus far with ultimate success is the Phoenix Burned out like you said Tom a strong tactic indeed. Won 10 games of 10.

I know there are a few gaps in my squad but so far it is going well.

How much money have you got?

you need a dm to replace zokora because he isnt the best man for the job

have a look at javi martinez and if he's on the transfer list for around £4million Get Him!!

He has the best DM in the game. Huddlestone as backup use Diaby, Hobbs.

Use Bojan as your ST and you'll see the difference in him.

I am on the look out for a good DM Martinez is certainly an option I am watching. Not on the Transfer list this time around sadly.

Bale is doing very well as a CB, he scores often and took to the training like a duck to water so to speak. He is happy, young and on form can't ask for much more :)
Have to say King playing as DM with Huddlestone it's working very well.

I'm going to try Bojan as an SC and berbatov as FC. See how that works. Thanks for the tip.

Transfer Window is closed.
Remaing budget is 5,500,000
Modric is payed for and joining in Jan 08. And doing well this season.

if you havent got ramsey moses bostock lindfield traore buy them all with the rest of your money and try vela and merida

merida vela and traore may not be an option as arsenal won't sell to tottenham

Well finished my first season, and cleared the board, won the league, won UEFA cup, won the FA Cup, and the league cup.

Ended with Berbatov as my top goal scorer with 99 goals in 56 apperances. (Could of had more but got injured towards the end of the season, he is worth 18mil)

Bojan found his stride around half way through. 60 appearances 37 goals.

On to my next season now, and have brought in some interesting signings.

V. Kompany
C. Lindfield (Plays exceptionally well with Bojan)

Out of funds now spent the most on Ramos 24 mil but well worth it he has played 4 games and scored 3 goals.

I have sold.

what formation did you use with spurs, 442 with wingers pushed on was it ?

I used the Phoenix Burned out super tactic, but have cycled between 4-5-1 and madav v2.

I am experimenting with my own tactics but thus far, phoenix burned out has been the strongest I have used/come across.

Does anoyone have any idea's about a good GK to buy as an understudy or even better than. P.Robinson??

A lot of people talk about carson, have'nt tried him myself yet.
