Annoying News

As a big Champ fan i am gutted by the news 09 wont be out til April. I personally have never played FM but i am considering trying it out. Is it good? Better than Champ? Or will Champ 09 be worth waiting for?

Any opinions please comment.

As I've just mentioned in another thread, we gave ourselves longer to make the game this year as we wanted to focus on the new features and where we have re-structured parts of it, we wanted those working efficiently and not just as gimmicks.

The media side has had a big revamp, with loads more variety in there, and these things take time to implement.

i think its a shame, but they said on another thread they want to give us the most upto date game all the time, which if works is a really good idea

personally, never played fm but champ sound amazing. im waiting for it defo now . after looking at all the screenies n hearing all improvements/changes i am defo sticking

Me neither played FM before.

I got Cm 01-02 and CM 03-04, then skipping a couple of years cause my PC was ****. Then last year i found out that they splitted and choose for CM cause the PC-specs where better for my PC and it was 10€ cheaper :)

Now i would not have any problem to plau both, but sticking to CM. (Also off course because i'm researcher since last year :))

im not a fan of fm but i was condsidering trying it. however looking at the screenies of cm and all the feedbak im defo sticking with cm for 09 and beyond

I feel that CM 09 will be the one so it's worth waiting for it till April! It's not anything wrong in trying FM...it's just another manager game for **** sake, don't argue on it...

After FM 09 indifferent reception - maybe this extra time will allow BGS to release a better 3D engine! Time will tell!
