I was playing on CM08 and happened to notice a striker in the blue square had hit 27 goals but was sold at the end of the season for something like 4k. Now we all know that there is alot of money going into those leagues for players these days and Im now wondering if this problem will be addressed on the new game. In other words If lower league players are doing well, will we see there value go up to the likes of 100k rather than peanuts. Also 2 other things 1st is can you make sure Arsenal have more money this yr as every yr they get squat unlike Man UTD and chelsea, And John I wont your job as i think its great to shut down some of these forums the way u do! Cappo when is there going to be more screen shots and news about game?

£100k for a lower league player is excessive, when you consider most League 2 teams are made up of players who have brought in for free, or on loan. Surely, the fee should not only be based on the players stats/performances but also the club buying him - or the clubs interested in him if he isn't being sold. If only league 2 clubs are interested then a fee of £100k is excessive, if a Premier League team is interested then it isn't.

As for Arsenals money. They spend very little in real life, to give them Man Utd/Chelsea amounts for transfers wouldn't be a realistic reflection.

Leicester paid £120k 4 a player in that league last yr, Blackburn have just done the same. The price of these players are going up and i think the game needs to see this. If you take 5mins out of your day to see the players who have left the blue blue square and gone to the championship or league 1 they leave 4 these prices. Arsenal spend very little because Arsene Wenger doesnt want to spend what he has. Im not Arsene and I would like to hope there is more than £11 mil in the bank on this game

The fact that it is Leicester/Blackburn sort of proves my point. The value is all dependent on who is interested in the player. Saul Deeney was once valued at £1million by Blackburn when they were in the Prem. He ended up going to Burton for free. If no one is interested the value should be set at the going rate for players being sold within the league they play. The game needs a more intelligent system of setting values, to base values across the league on 2-3 players sold recently doesn't reflect the real life situation.

As for the Arsenal situation. Regardless of what the board say, they have to sell to bring players in - which has been evident season after season. A combination of lack of funds being made available, debt from building the stadium and Wengers love of building teams is why they don't splash out.

My point is that players from that league need to be able to reach the value then. Example, If u buy a player for say 9k when ur in league 1 then you will see that if he scored 15 goals his value wouldnt change or if it did it would only be by 3k or something silly. what my point is is that these players arnt all that bad so if you were to manage say Bristol rovers where u cant buy prem or championship players then the blue square is where u should be looking for semi good players. Do u see my point??

Again Arsenal are the 3rd or 4th richest club in the world, yes the board love Arsene's why of building but on the game 4 past 5yrs we havnt had much to spend so say u manage them and wanted 2 re sign Henry then u would have to sell a good player to get the money needed. If you havnt already noticed the squad is small as it is. At least give arsenal 22mil in the bank so we can splash some cash as its already been said a few times now that Wenger has 30mil to spend so id just like to see that in the game.

Most conference clubs don't pay transfer fees and if they do they rarley exceed 10k.
