I'm managing Crystal Palace and in my 2nd season - the first I was pushing for a playoff spot then with 8 games to go I stopped scoring. No changes in tactics or selection - my team just didn't score. This has carried on into my 2nd season where I'm now bottom of the league after 10 games, with no goals!

That happened to me once and I got sacked.

Bully them and tweak your tactics.

Try drilling your players on shooting and change up their training routine to concentrate on more striker specific attributes.

That happened to me last evenening with Parma. From 16 games I had only one game without skoring (lost 1:0 Roma away) and now I just cannot score. I have very much shots on goal, creating chances but I only receive corners or the keeper holds the ball (imagine 100+ km/h shot and the keeper holds the ball in hands o_O)

The A.I. starts to understand your tactics and works against you. I play a system where I play 4-3-3 and have a save system of 4-4-2 which my first team can switch to in match play. I swap the tactics around randomly which helps against the A.I. kicking my ass, its not full prove but helps.

I've heard. .. swap positions of strikers and MC's ... seemed to work.

Swap your strikers and central midfielders? Is that really a sensible solution to a potential bug; especially from BGS staff?

I cannot swap positions because I use SC and FC and they have different roles. Same with both MC's. I like tactical discipline and consistensy and the only thing I swap is wingers. My attacking players just make huge amount of misses. I scored nine goals for 9:1 win over Fiorentina and now I cannot score goal in two consecutive home matches against 19th and 20th in the league.

What Neckus is referring to is have your strikes swap sides and your CM's swap sides also.:thup:

I've tried switching tactics, focusing their training on shooting and attacking, employing different strikers. Nothing works. If the only solution is to constantly change my tactics I don't think I'll be playing much longer.

Swaping positions of my FC and SC seemed to work couse I just smashed Catania away with sensational 7:1!

It's not a bug. In my opinion it's a scripted "feature" to simulate a loss of form for a team. I've had it too, 1 game beating Chelsea 4-0 the next cant beat Stoke at home and then go on a run of crap results
